A lecture on the
Media Literacy was given to the project leaders of Nagano Nishi High
School on August 6, 2001 by the graduate students from University of Tokyo, Ms. Kuniko Sakata and Ms. Ke
Yue. They discussed the aims of this
project, how to create
the video clips and why it is important to conduct such exchanges between
Japanese and Korean high school students. A similar lecture was
given to the
students of Namju High School and Gyeongbuk Foreign Language School at the beginning of September
2001 by a Korean exchange student from UT, Ms. Choi . Both groups of
students came to understand the purpose of this project, and began to
think about how they could get involved. |
