Introduction of the NACB Project
This project is aimed to help students understand the characteristics of media and enhance media awareness through a program where they create their own broadcast. They can experience the assimilation of different viewpoints between senders and receivers, enhancing critical thinking skills needed for media awareness.
The MELL Project (Media Expression and Literacy Learning Project) and National Association of Commercial Broadcasters in Japan organized the program and supported the students' creation.   Our program was conducted by the members of the Broadcasting Club & the International Communication Club of Nagano Nishi High School.

It is our great honor to be one of the pioneers in expressing our opinions by creating a media product with the literacy and skills of media, gaining rare public access in cooperation with the local TV station.  We would like to extend our sincere gratitude to the teachers and staff involved from the Institute of Socio-Information and Communication Studies University of Tokyo, Shinshu University Faculty of Education and TV Shinshu Broadcasting Co., LTD.
